About

Backend engineer with 5+ years across Stanza Living, Housing.com and Infogain. My strongest work sits where reliability, cost and product operations meet: replacing paid third-party workflows, improving incident response, scaling wallet and referral systems, and turning messy production problems into systems people can depend on.

At Stanza Living, Stanza Signum became my highest business-impact project, saving ~₹13L annually by bringing digital signing in-house. DrDroid became my highest ownership-growth project: I took it from founder conversations to a production-ready incident-investigation workflow for our Kubernetes ecosystem.

I like backend work because the best systems eventually become quiet. They save money, reduce manual effort, make failures easier to understand, and let teams move without constantly fighting production.

Experience

  1. Stanza Living

    Oct 2023 – Present

    Senior Software Engineer (SDE2)

    Gurugram

    • Led adoption of DrDroid (AI-driven incident investigation) across a Kubernetes microservices ecosystem — automated root cause analysis across 157 incidents and 6,600+ alerts, reducing MTTR by ~65%, saving ~390 engineering hours and cutting alert fatigue by 42%.
    • Architected Stanza Signum, an in-house digital signing platform replacing Leegality, delivering ~₹13 lakh annual savings (₹7 per signature) and eliminating third-party failure points.
    • Migrated image delivery from Cloudinary to Thumbor, saving $2,600/month; automated migration of 52,000+ assets to S3 in Python with structure preserved.
  2. Housing.com

    May 2022 – Sep 2023

    Software Development Engineer

    Gurugram, Haryana

    • Re-architected the Housing App Wallet from a virtual coin to a real-money platform — payment rails, ledger management and transaction flows — driving a 60% surge in wallet transactions and 35% higher user satisfaction.
    • Engineered the referral tracking backend with event-driven attribution and referral lifecycle management: 30% more user acquisition and a 20% rise in referral-based sign-ups.
    • Built a fraud detection Rule Engine analysing payment and transaction history in real time, blocking roughly 8 fraudulent payments a month at a ~₹40k average ticket (~₹3.2 lakh/month prevented).
  3. Infogain

    Jan 2020 – May 2022

    Software Engineer

    Noida, Uttar Pradesh

    • Developed ENCOR Patch, a C# application that enabled 20+ retail store expansion within 6 months by automating in-store configuration and deployment.
    • Automated ENCOR Patch deployment with Jenkins and batch scripting, cutting deployment time 65% and eliminating manual error across 20+ store rollouts.
    • Found and fixed a critical production bug missed for a month, preventing a crash across 20+ retail stores and saving an estimated 40+ hours of manual recovery.
